SUPER late with my comment again, but here goes!!
Medieval style characters are my favorite, so the guy to the left is epic to me! the shoulder pad and armor on the shins looks really good, and I can appreciate their design since I've been forcing myself into practicing both forms of armor for an upcoming comic project.
The female also looks really good to me. Of particular merit is the body language you managed to portray in her stance. Reminds me of confidence and maybe even cocky-type attitude.
I really found the way you hatched the shadows for the female different and interesting. I also found the eye design a lot simpler and interesting as well. It almost feels more cartoony/illustrative. Trying new styles?
